Network Rail extends technical support service for 3-years.

Network Rail has contracted Magdalene to provide a technical support service for a further 3-year period to ensure availability of their critical DNWP (formerly Nokia (NSN)) transmission access telecommunications infrastructure.

Magdalene has been providing support, including technical assistance and hardware repair services to Network Rail for many years for their DNWP ‘Dynanet’ PDH equipment and NMS platforms.

Magdalene Ltd, as sole UK and global support partner of DNWP is ideally placed to provide remote support services to Network Rail to ensure the continued availability of their critical telecommunications operational network. Magdalene utilises its 24/7 NOC and vendor-level expertise to ensure the availability of customer networks throughout the UK and internationally.

Keith Lamport, Magdalene Sales Director, says: “It is particularly pleasing that Network Rail has chosen to extend arrangements for a further period of support by Magdalene. This underlines Magdalene’s capabilities to provide extensive support services for current and legacy networks, and also demonstrates the longevity of the dependable DNWP telecommunications portfolio, which is once again available to purchase by old and new customers alike.”
