SSE selects the DNWP SGRWin Management System for its Connection Master Network.
Following an extensive procurement process Magdalene is pleased to announce that SSE has selected the DNWP SGRWin Management System to manage its Dynanet and Connection Master infrastructure.
Key features of the SGRWin platform are automatic end-to-end 64k circuit routing across the combined Connection Master and Dynanet network, and a hot standby infrastructure for high availability. These features provide benefits for ease of use with point and click new service provisioning and automatic circuit to incident correlations.
These features greatly simplify SSE’s network support strategy by speeding up operator training and enabling the wider integration into the support team. This new platform replaces the end-of-life NMS10 system and extends the working life of the underlying Dynanet equipment, whilst bridging across to the new Connection Master platform.
Magdalene are the sole distributor of the DNWP Connection Master and Dynanet equipment in the UK. DNWP Dynanet (Ex-Nokia) has a huge installed base in the UK utilities and continues to be supported by a complete selection of replacement cards.
