Magdalene are looking for an enthusiastic individual with the drive and ambition to succeed in a demanding and critical Operations role as the Field Resource Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing the central point of management of Field Engineer availability throughout the company. This will include liaising with project and service managers to identify and allocate suitably skilled and competent resources to complete customer works. Additionally, the Field Resource Manager will be required to liaise with internal stakeholders to obtain a resource forecast and ensure resource levels are managed to complete forecasted works.

The main duties in this role are as follows:

  • Manage the company Qualified Persons List (QPL) ensuring that engineer certification and skills records are maintained accurately.
  • Arrange training and certification as required for engineers.
  • Validation of new engineer certification.
  • Order access cards and project specific equipment as appropriate for engineers to comply with project requirements.
  • Working with internal customers to ensure engineers skills are trackable to assist with resource allocation decision making.
  • Working with Project Managers, SME’s and logistics to set a baseline dimensioning template for projects, with review every month for a rolling forecast.
  • Work with Project Managers to ensure a high level of field resource utilisation.
  • Supporting the Project and NOC teams with ad-hoc requirements.
  • Supporting with external parties as required in relation to customer bids and reviews.
  • Reporting on utilisation and engineer performance to Senior Managers in the business.
  • Responding to customer and third party audit requirements.

The ideal candidate will have experience in:

  • Working in a fast-paced environment with immovable deadlines.
  • Interacting with customers and suppliers at varying business levels.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Fully competent in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Able to work independently and pro-actively.
  • Ideally degree educated.
