Mark joined Magdalene in 2002 and in 15 years has helped oversee the company’s growth from <£5M pa to the £30M pa level today. As Managing Director he is responsible for all facets of Magdalene’s business and enjoys working with both customers and Magdalene’s management team to deliver solutions that add value to our customers and their customers alike. Prior to Magdalene he held senior UK based roles in customer relationship management for Nokia and prior to that as Finance Director for Nokia Nederlands BV based in the Hague.
Sam joined Magdalene in February 2015 and has led many of the operational teams in that time. Appointed as Operations Director in 2018 he is now ultimately responsible for the day to day service delivery across all of our customer contracts through overall management of Magdalene’s Engineering, Operations, and Projects business units. He has worked for over 20 years in the telecommunications industry having held operational management positions at Alcatel-Lucent, Reliance Globalcom and Zayo.
Rachel is responsible for all of Magdalene’s core and mobile customer business. Rachel joined Magdalene from a resourcing background and since coming on board in 2011 has lead a number of wireless customer accounts and spent a two year period within the operations team as Managed Services Director. Her current role includes the management of customer relationships for the likes of Telefonica, Nokia, Zayo and Tait as well as new business development.
Hugh is responsible for Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety standards across all of Magdalene. The Service Assurance Department is supported by a QSEI Manager, a H&S Manager and a dedicated team of QA and H&S Auditors. Hugh has been part of Magdalene’s Senior Management team since November 2004. Previous to this Hugh was responsible for European Care Operations at Nokia Networks and also had a role as Global Partner Manager.
Keith is an Engineering graduate of the University of Leeds and has been in the telecoms industry for over 22 years. He has responsibility within Magdalene for the whole utilities sector business and the management of the Critical Communications Product Portfolio. As part of this he is also responsible for the engagement of the other group companies to provide our customers with fully end-to-end infrastructure solutions. Before joining Magdalene, Keith worked at Nokia Networks and Yorkshire Electricity.
Ian is responsible for the commercial and contractual management of Magdalene’s business and has previously held commercial positions at numerous telecommunication services businesses including senior posts at GPT, EXi Limited, Alan Dick and Traxe Global Services.
Laura joined Magdalene in 2014. She is responsible for the Engineering Services team within Magdalene which includes our 24/7 UK wide FLM team, field installation and commissioning teams and our Clerk of Works services. As a team, Engineering Services, are responsible for ensuring that all works requirements are fulfilled with the highest quality engineers who are in the right place at the right time. Laura’s background in HR Operations brings strong leadership to the team and her experience is complemented by a CIPD qualification.
Chris joined Magdalene in 2016 and is a Chartered Member of the CIPD. He started his career as an Officer in the RAF before taking on HR roles in the education sector and, most recently, as an HR Business Partner for a leading national motor retail group. Now heading up Magdalene’s Human Resources team, he is responsible for shaping and delivering Magdalene’s people strategy.
Experienced Network Director with a demonstrated history of working in the telecommunications industry. Skilled in building Fibre Networks, National Field Force Management, Service Delivery, Managed Services, Sales, and Sales Management. Strong information technology professional graduated from Nunthorpe Grammar & York College.
Mark joined Magdalene in April 2018 as Projects Director leading the companies project organisation. In his role Mark is responsible for project management, logistics and the Northern Ireland and Scotland offices. Mark has extensive telecommunications experience globally and most recently with Openreach in the UK where he ran the FTTH and FTTC rollouts across London and the South East. Mark is a full member of the Association of Project Managers (MAPM) and a MSP Practitioner.
