• Imperial Hospital Trust required a high capacity private network between its three London hospital sites.
• Magdalene worked closely with the technical teams on site to design and provision a DWDM optical network, initially providing a 100G connection between each location.
• This exponential increase in bandwidth over the previous infrastructure allowed for aggregation of services across the group and improved efficiencies between departments.
• The architecture of the DWDM network and flexibility of the Huawei WDM equipment used, allows for easy and rapid deployment of bandwidth upgrades as the need arises in the future.
